The feast of the Rosary appears in the Traditional Calendar on October 7. This is associated with the miraculous victory of Lepanto on October 7, 1571 (which was attributed to the intercession of the Queen of the Rosary). The original feast was entitled Our Lady of Victory, but the name has been changed to the feast of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
